Colbe appoints Hester Cornelissen as Executive Director Operations & Growth
As of April 1, Hester Cornelissen will join Colbe as Executive Director Operations & Growth. In this role, she will be responsible for the Performance and Work Wellbeing proposition. Through this proposition, Colbe advances its belief that work is more than labor alone, and that work and wellbeing are inherently interconnected.

In recent years, Hester Cornelissen worked at insurance broker Aon, where she most recently served as Director Health Solutions. Her previous employers include De Goudse Verzekeringen and Essent. As Executive Director at Colbe, she will focus on operations and growth. Her appointment marks the next step in realizing Colbe’s Work Wellbeing proposition.
Unique network
Through the concept of “Work Wellbeing,” Colbe embodies the belief that work is more than labor. It is a place where people can grow, connect with others, and experience meaning. Work and wellbeing are therefore intrinsically linked; however, the way we approach them today often no longer aligns with this reality. Colbe offers a unique network of wellbeing specialists focused on work and wellbeing. Acting as a connector, Colbe brings together this expertise. Its digital platform TrueTribe, part of Colbe, provides employers with insights into risks, prevention, and the impact of interventions, while giving employees and teams access to support in health and wellbeing.
Strong drive
Bas Tomassen: “I have come to know Hester as a warm, creative leader with a strong drive to perform. Her experience in the insurance and advisory market, particularly in developing propositions around employee benefits and sustainable employability, aligns well with Colbe’s current stage of growth.”
Hester Cornelissen: “I very much look forward to starting as Executive Director at Colbe. Throughout my career, I have seen that healthy employees form the foundation of every growing organization. At Colbe, everything comes together: by intrinsically linking work and wellbeing, we are building a future-proof Work Wellbeing proposition that truly makes an impact.”
